In 1999
he began his studies in Anthropology at the National School of Anthropology and
History in México City. After completing this degree in 2003, he enrolled in
the Centro de Capacitacion Cinematografica film school in Mexico City where he
wrote and directed various shorts, his graduating film (feature) “Between
night and day” (2011), was Awarded the Industry Prize at San Sebastian
International Film Festival and was selected
in competition at major
festivals including Tokyo, Amiens, Warsaw, Guadalajara and San
Sebastian. Bernardo completed a masters degree in script writing at the Escola
Superior de Cinema e Audiovisuals de Cataluña (ESCAC) in Barcelona. He is
currently finished his second feature “The
Beginning of Time” and developing his next feature film project.
